Antonio Pappano , supermaestro,  conducts the Santa Cecilia Orchestra ,for a programme of Verdi,for the Italian composer’s bicentenary  at the BBC PROMS, Albert Hall, London July 19&20 2013.  Pappano conducts Simon Boccanegra,   @ Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to July 16th.  Then Pappano is off to the Salzburg Festival to conduct Verdi’s Don Carlo.                                 Image Laurie Lewis.The Times.
