Annual Harbin Ice & Snow Festival.  This year’s extraordinary ice sculpture,carved from huge blocks of  the Songhua river, lit by millions of LED fairy lights, the centrepiece  inspired by Iceland’s famous, romantic Gothic Hallgrimskirkja church in Reykjavik. 150 feet high. 2014 Tourist trips taking in the Chinese New Year are available.
