Glashutte small town in former Eastern Germany famous for watchmaking. Re-emergence of German watchmaking industry centred around Glashutte. Due to the energy of the late Gunther Blumen, instrumental in the transformation of the industry.Very linked to the rebirth of A.Lange & Sohne who are showing at the QP Watch Fair at the Saatchi Saatchi Gallery in Duke of Yorks Square, 7-9 November 2013.
